About Me

Audrey Rose is a New York City based singer, actress and voice coach, with humble beginnings in Wichita Falls, Texas. Throughout her life, the love for singing, dancing and storytelling only blossomed. While only 17, Audrey learned from Backdoor to Broadway's Rich Affannatto, Gregory Treco, Alet Taylor and Andy Taylor. She was inspired and set her sights to Broadway. Audrey graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University in 2018. During her time there, she had the opportunity to work with Broadway Choreographer, Greg Graham, on Damn Yankees. She was absolutely awestruck when she was selected to perform with Kristin Chenowith on her Coming Home Tour. Audrey developed her skills in devising by originating the role of Marie II in Woyzeck, On and On, by Nick Lantz. She also got to be a part of Furies: A Brief History of Furious Women, which empowered her to tell her own stories and uplift women! One of Audrey's favorite roles at SHSU was Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream performed in Original Pronunciation Dialect. In her first year living in the city she landed a puppetry gig with The Shadow Box Theatre. She played several roles within The Firefly Star, and The African Drum, which toured across the city. Since the pandemic, Audrey has spent her time reflecting, practicing mindfulness, making delicious soups and cakes alike, and sharpening her vocal skills. She is loving teaching voice lessons, especially musical theatre, virtually to people all over the country.
